Over the years, Mazda has established a reputation for being on the forefront of technology in automobiles. It comes as no surprise, then, that the automaker continues to push the boundaries. Today we’ll be looking at i-ACTIVESENSE® TECHNOLOGY, SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY, the Intelligent Transport System, the Mazda Ideal Driving Environment, and adaptive LED headlights.
i-ACTIVESENSE® TECHNOLOGY is essentially the umbrella term used to describe all of the different safety features in Mazda vehicles. It includes technology that warns drivers of problems, prevents accidents from happening, and reduces the risk of injuries in the case of accidents.
Much like i-ACTIVESENSE® gathers together Mazda’s advanced safety features, SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY collects the manufacturer’s specialty engineering that increases fuel efficiency and engine output. This includes new engines, transmissions, bodies, and chassis. This push in technology began back in 2011.
In an effort to reduce car accidents, Mazda introduced the Intelligent Transport System. This technology helps drivers recognize and avoid threats.
For many, driving at night is their least favorite thing to do. Mazda’s adaptive LED headlights light up the road for you so that it feels like you’re driving during the day.
